What scale should I use for Impact?
Use the original Intercom scale: 0.25 = minimal, 0.5 = low, 1 = medium, 2 = high, 3 = massive. Be honest — most features are 0.5 to 1.
Is RICE the best framework?
It's the best balance of rigour and speed for most teams. For very early-stage products, a simpler 'impact vs effort' 2x2 is fine; RICE shines once you have real usage data feeding Reach.
